Exciting Partnership for Peace & Youth Empowerment Project!

The African Australian Advocacy Centre (AAAC) is proud to announce an inspiring partnership with the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) for the implementation of the NSW Global Links:

Proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Multicultural NSW COMPACT Program, this 3-year project aims to promote peace, social cohesion and community resilience, particularly by empowering young people from conflict-affected diaspora communities.

AAAC will engage African youth (aged 18-30) from conflict-affected diaspora communities in NSW to participate in the Project, including in transformative peacebuilding and leadership training, participatory research, community-led peacebuilding initiatives and policy-related consultation discussions.

Stay tuned as we share more updates and stories from this exciting journey.
